Things to Remember in 2013
So here we are again… about to start another year of new obsessions, inspirations and smart decisions. I didn’t make any resolutions for this year but I will keep in mind what I learned (and remembered) in 2012. Try and try again. Ask for what you want. The worst they can say is no. I have nothing to prove to anyone except myself. Red lipstick makes me very happy. Socks are underrated. I can’t wear the sky high stilettos of my youth. And I am ok with that. Patterns are infinitely more interesting and flattering over solids. Sample sales are not fun anymore even for my most coveted designers. If someone asks me what I do, personal stylist is not the answer. I hate being put on the spot to answer how they look. Be interesting. Be interested.
